Before becoming a photographer, I spent years caring for children as a pediatric nurse practitioner. That experience taught me that the environment surrounding a child shapes how they see themselves. The artwork displayed in a home quietly communicates what we value—and I believe a child's portrait is one of the most meaningful pieces a family can display.
